Energised by functionality and finding fulfilment and meaning in solving difficult challenges, Frank’s approach to engineering excellence doesn’t just involve ‘making things work.’ He believes excellence begins with a clear, correct and comprehensive approach to problem solving.
Moreso, he believes that a project doesn’t truly come to life without an element of intuition. This strong sense of ‘knowing’ inspires a willingness to explore, revealing hidden outcomes and is what makes his approach so successful. It is this extra level of forward-thinking that Frank infuses into everything Engineering Partners delivers.
Frank’s work ethos is based heavily in teamwork, with his ‘we’re in this together’ attitude driving an infectious enthusiasm within the business. His ability to strongly connect with those he works with means projects develop a holistic approach, while his expertise across every aspect of electrical building services ensures high level outcomes every single time.
Joining Engineering Partners in 1985 as Electrical Director, Frank is currently joint owner of the business and is actively involved in each project.
Robert Weiss - Mechanical Services Director

Robert’s ‘what if’ approach continually delivers out-of-the-box engineering responses. His belief that best results are achieved when all alternative scenarios are considered means no stone is left unturned when problem solving a project.
This, as well as his years of experience, logic and innovative thinking is what propels Robert to continually seek knowledge in new areas. Such a diverse and progressive attitude to projects allows him the opportunity to continually develop smart, elegant solutions. It is also the reason he puts such a strong emphasis on education and mentoring within the business.
It’s Robert’s enthusiasm for the discovery process that encourages clients to find a deeper understanding in why one outcome will work better than another. When everyone understands and is on the same page, a mutual respect for engineering excellence is reached.
Joining Engineering Partners in 1985, Robert became joint owner in 1994 also taking on the role of Mechanical Services Director.

Pat believes solid documentation backed by real world nous is the backbone of every successful project. This powerful combination creates clarity, heightens project implementation efficiencies and removes guesswork, providing a space for ingenuity to grow.
Working for Mechanical Services contractors prior to Engineering Partners has provided Pat with an extra level of behind-the-scenes expertise of what documentation does and doesn't work when planning a project. This practical knowledge is strongly grounded in an appreciation for concept-to-execution intricacies and drives the detail found in his work.
Now a Principal Associate of the EP team, his successful solutions are born out of well thought out, well-coordinated processes developed from the right experience, insights, foresight and commitment to ‘doing it right’.
Often considered a quiet achiever who embraces a one-on-one client approach, Pat thrives on the diversity of every job he takes on and finds no greater satisfaction than when a project reaches fulfillment.
